'When through the chambers of the brain sweep phantoms more terrible than reality itself.' (Oscar Wilde, 1890. The Picture of Dorian Gray.)
At present my work is concerned with exploring the unconcious. Memories, dreams and associations that make up the intricate layers of the mind. The work is made up of monochrome drawings, some of which are disturbing images that fuel our fears, others unfathomable dreams or a rememberance of things past. There is a gap between reality and our perceptions of reality, with the emphasis on this in- between space.
